how can i monitor my raid/hd health ?

Hi, my server use Adaptec 2405SAS to do raid 10, is any way i can let system to monitor the health of my raid and hd automatically, if it detect any warming or error, it will automatically notify me to check it. ps. my os is centos and cloudlinux thanx

Hi You need to download the ARCCONF Adaptec CLi software, the what I do is run a script via cron each day to email me the output from output of the command. Thanks

Hi, but do you use use any software or script to collect and analyze those result ? or if you get alot of mails per day,it will spend you alot of time to check the mail text. thanx

You can write a bash script to analyze the results and if it has problem inform you. it won't take that much time to done it.

You can use mdadm as well and setup cron job to notify of drive failure in the event it happens.
