Hi, cpanel has a backup method incremental, is it the same as rsync ? thanx

cPanel is using rsync so it is the same :-)

Incremental has a much better sounding and you get the meaning at first glance! But on a serious note, not much differences.

rsync has extra options that you can use. For example, if you use '--delete' with rsync, on the destination location it deletes the files that are missing at the source. Not sure whether cPanel rsync is using that option. You can try creating and deleting and test file and then run the incremental backups in between or put a ticket at the cPanel to check
