SolusVM problem

Posted by Lost Eagle, 06-16-2011, 08:15 PM
Hi GUYS -- As soon as any body request the URL of the solusVM panel the SSH goes down ... not as server service - but I can't SSH remotely .. while DC said its UP SolusVM people said that this is not related to solusVM itself ... Any advises ...

Did u check the resource usage while you access solusVM ? . It could be just that you are unable to connect to the ssh because the cpu usage is very high.

Is ssh running? If so is the port open / do you get any response? What does the server report if you try to restart it. Are you SURE the messages log file does not have anything in it that might be useful?

check numfile and numproc in vps. it could be falling short of number of open files and SSH may get blocked

Can you telnet to the SSH port, is there any firewalls blocking you?

Posted by Lost Eagle, 06-19-2011, 06:57 AM
No firewalls at all - I can SSH and telnet .. but at the moment I try to access solus panel the SSH close then I fail to connect "time out" for 10 min - then I can re-SSH well .. Any advises ...
