Posted by (Stephen), 02-27-2008, 03:58 AM We have full detail posted on our forum, but a 48 port switch has totally failed we have tried remote restart of it and other means to get it to come up even temporarily to have a scheduled replacement but it remains down, We are moving spare stock into replace this switch with datacenter staff now, this is a limited outage in that only one non core switch is down. We have a full list of servers facing problems listed on our forums.
Posted by (Stephen), 02-27-2008, 05:25 AM All is up again, the longest outage for any one server was 1 hour and 59 minutes. We apologize for this problem and have never experienced such a complete switch failure, but have now and have that experience under our belt.
