Any reseller with 24/7 phone support?

Hi Folks - LOVE this forum...thanks to everyone for contributing. I've found site5.com through here and so far (< month) things have been good. OTOH, I also found completehostingsolutions.com through here, and lately the guy doesn't respond to email support requests: one of my clients had a problem with his email which has been so far unresolved (no response from CHS in three days and after three emails) so, I'm looking for a new host. Which leads me to my question: site5 and resellerzoom seem to have to have a decent reputation for support. But I was wondering if there was another reseller that had great support quality and 24/7 phone support? My client is willing to pay a bit more as his business is heavily reliant on email and I would like to give him the best possible solution. Thanks in advance for any pointers! -David V.

Hi, I believe HostGator offers 24/7 Phone support. There're also many other hosts offering 24/7 phone support or support via Chat / AIM/ Msn/ ICQ etc...just take a look at the offers forums and search around WHT. Good luck with your search.

As mentioned I would suggest checking the offers forum and do a bit of searching both on wht and google regarding any hosts you might be interested in. Remember to always seek out information prior to buying services anywhere as otherwise you might find yourself in the same situation as you are now (happens quite often these days it seems). -Justin

There is a plethora of hosts who offer 24/7 phone support. Honestly, I wouldn't feel comfortable going with a host who didn't if you are serious about your business. I agree with the post above.... try the host quote feature.

When checking with the hosts, and not knowing what your specifically looking for, you should verify what type of 24/7 support they offer; whether it be direct support for the reseller or the reseller's customers.

I agree HostGator is tops when it comes to support. Before switching over to their servers in June, I called, e-mailed and live chatted with questions anywhere from 3 a.m., midnight, morning and noon for two weeks and got an instant reply every time. They are tech savvy, and VERY polite. And, btw, did I mention they do speak fluent english?

My experience with HostGator was that anytime that I called their support they simply asked me to email sales(at)hostgator.com or support(at)hostgator.com. I was never able to get anything resolved via the phone. I will give them their props on their email support though. They generally got the issues resolved quickly. Bottom line, just email support and don't waste your time calling.
