My GearWorx hosted site is currently down, the fourth significant outage in the last five weeks.

Are they hosted in DreamHost or Media Temple's DC?

Their main website is online. What is the domain or IP you have hosted with Gearworx? They seem like a great company...

I've been watching the site closely since I received the alert and it continues to remain down.

Gearworx as awhole is not down. You are referring to a Linux server, which has been displaying some signs of problems. Unfortunately problems do ocurr and fortunately we can resolve problems.
In your particular case this issue has happened twice since last Saturday and we have been attempting to correct it for you.
