DNS servers

Hello! I know this question has been discussed many times here, but still I'm a bit confused. I need a reliable tool to keep my DNS servers synchronised. Let's say, I have 3 servers, A, B and C. Server A - DNS01 server Server B - DNS02 server Server C - DirectAdmin01 server 1) I probably need to keep bind on C, right? 2) Then C server just sends updates to those DNS servers, which handle all the queries, right? 3) What tool can you recommend me to keep all those servers synchronised? Thank you

1. Yes, Bind is fine. 2. Yes. C will act as master and A and B will act as slave. 3. Bind can be installed and configured bind on servers, A and B. Server C just needs some configuration changed to act a master namesever.

Hi, 1&2 same as david510 3. If server A&B just for DNS server, consider using PowerDNS using MySQL database replication between A&B
