Mail server problem

Hi I have problem with mail server I have two servers the first one windows and the second one linux I want to forword the incoming email from windows server to linux server for only one account

You can set forwarder if you just want to forward mails, if you want to use the linux server as the mail server, then set appropriate mx records

Yes, this type of configuration depends on the mail server you are using. If you're running exchange on your windows server then I believe you first have to create a new contact in active directory users and computers. In the contact you must specify an smtp address that can be any internal or external address. Then you can configure the forward in the account settings of the user in active directory users and computers. Right click on the user and select Properties -> Exchange General -> Delivery Options -> Forward to: -> Click 'Modify' and search for the contact you just created. Adding a forwarder to the email will be the easiest solution here.
