yum installation error

Hello, When I install packages using yum it gives me errors Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/yum", line 4, in ? import yum File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/yum/__init__.py", line 49, in ? import comps File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/yum/comps.py", line 23, in ? iterparse = cElementTree.iterparse AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'iterparse' Can you please help me to fix this issue. I suppose that would be much better to download latest updated version from the site of developer. Then install everything again and then let us know if there is any error. I suppose you are using 1 click installer to install that?

Download yum in RPM form and reinstall it.

Looks like a corrupted YUM Install to me, hence suggesting a reinstall via RPM. Why it happened - no idea.

Something wrong in initial installation files, Try to get the latest version re upload and try again. Good luck
