VARhosting.net - Cheap reseller hosting - cheap web hosting reseller value-added This site is temporarily unavailable. Please notify the System Administrator 2 is what I get when I go to www.varhosting.net, my sites are down on a regular basis (like now), and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had with any host. I just checked varhosting and I was able to get to it just fine. Hopefully you will get it worked out with them.

You are definatly on a different server than I have my reseller account on. All my sites have had at least 99.9% uptime since I first joined the company in January. I only had 7 minutes of downtime last month which is quite good for a web host. There aren't too many web hosts that are as cheap as varhosting and offer as good of support and uptime as they do.

weird, I can't get to varhosting. Just a temporary glitch, I think they seem to have a decent reputation

no.. i cant access to their website as well... mysql is down as well.. what happened to varhosting ?

This is a default mambo error message for when mambo (the CMS they are using) cannot connect to the mysql server (coded with error message "2") This can be related to several factors including incorrect variables set in configure.php - however, in this instance, mysql is more then likely buckling under the load or down altogether...

I'm surprise that niyogi or someone from varhosting has not responded yet. i have to say this, though. those guys at varhosting are very hard working, very patient, and very, very fast and helpful when it comes to resolving problems. i really, really want to stay with them. but, i think they are selling their hosting too cheap. as a result, they are getting more clients than they could handle. in essence, the proverbial "biting more than they can chew." in a way, for the varhosting owner's pocket, that's good. that means the marketing is good. but, for the clients... i personally would rather pay more for a reliable hosting than less for something that i cannot count on. thus, in the long run, the sudden spike in varhosting's client base may end up backfiring and bite them.

Your are right. I'm having problem with Cpanel switching skins and sometimes, errors came out of my web page that simply can't get connect to the SQL. Load problem is another factor I'm considering moving out of VAR. I mean VAR is (or was) really nice people there, real value-added, but I guess, for this reason, it is (may) be hard for them to sustain. I'm sad... because switching sites is troublesome, but I can't hold myself up again with these much of loads on a server. Is Niyogi MIA?

I was with varhosting for a few weeks, and ended jumping ship because of the rather high downtime... for the most-part their support personnel are friendly and helpful, but when your having to contact them about your site being down every day, its not good for business.

I used VARHosting for a while and was pleased with their technical support. Considering their price the availability of 24/7 online support is pretty incredible (and I never once got a "Online support is offline" message!). Roj's attitude is excellent and even after I left he sorted out a PayPal refund (PayPal's mistake not Roj's!) faster than most hosts answer pre-sales questions :-) I will definitely use VARHosting again if the need arises.

this problem affects Varhosting.net tripodsupport.net/ tripodsupport.net/ secure.tripodsupport.net but h t t p s://secure.varhosting.net/lpanel/ is always available and the node i'm on isn't affected

I was also not able to go to varhosting.net.... Well it just remained for a minute or so..But something is definitely wong with their amazing support... This is the exact number of replies i got from the server but still wasnt connected to an operator.. you know, i cannot say anything bad about the people behind varhosting. i was (still am until they finalize the account cancellation i requested today) a happy camper as far as their customer support is concerned. i hope they learn a lesson from this. i hope they raise their price so that the number of clients can be limited to what they can truly handle, yet still make money. while i appreciation varhosting's customer relations, i hope they understand that all of us here are here because we need to put food on the table, just as much as they do. but, server down time would not guarantee food on the table. to the contrary...
