Posted by Joomla, 07-24-2010, 01:56 PM
Do you guys know any good lite weight system monitoring tool for Centos? I have a small server with single CPU. I'd like it to monitor my RAID-1 setup as well. To check whether there's falure in my RAID-1.

Software. I was just looking at cacti right now. So is cacti just fine for a single cpu server? I'm just concern that it would slowdown my server. Thanks.

i think cacti can pick up on a software raid im sure there is a script for it, I have it running in a VM with a resource pool of... 500mhz and 256ram. Does fine.
