Unlimited everything reseller

Posted by bnwsource, 02-15-2004, 07:18 PM
I am looking for a reseller hosting with unlimited webspace, bandwidth, mysql and I mean everything. But the price has to be less than $20. I am new in this so i will need proper guidence. From different webmasters i learned that they have unlimited everything. I know it's not possible but they have enough harddisks, bandwidth that cannot be reached. I will be interested using cpanel or ensim.

I havent seen any like this, not recently, and the ones that i have have limits in their TOS

If you know its not possible, how do you expect to get it? And if it were possible, why would someone sell it ridiculously cheap?

My guidance is that you research into the unlimited 'scam', the reseller industry and requirements. Spend your time reading WHT and consider some of the points you have made.

Sure, no problem, only $.99/mo, order now and I'll throw in a free sports car.

lol, sounds like the nearest offer your going to get to me

Posted by brendandonhu, 02-15-2004, 08:03 PM
Server at 127.0.0.1 does have really good ping times. They must have good peering. Or maybe its at a local datacenter.

Sounds like a plan!

I take it this post is a joke and more poking fun at unlimited hosts?

Posted by CPQIS, 02-15-2004, 09:37 PM
I don't think you will find an actual "good" host with these specs for under $20 bucks. Good luck though.

Posted by brendandonhu, 02-15-2004, 09:44 PM
You won't find a good host with specs for under $200 bucks either. Unlimited space just can't be.

Posted by portalplanet, 02-15-2004, 09:53 PM
You host with them too? Small world so do we! Justin

I also host with http://127.0.0.1 they have an excellent site design, and I never notice any downtime, any time I try to load my site it is to me within 1 second! And talk about service, I email support@127.0.0.1 and I get automated reply within 0.000001 seconds, and it answers all my questions.

A good one I have found is Integrityhost.net - they have an offer on ebay like the one you mention, but they have really good support to back it up. of course there really IS a limit to every plan but they oversell their server to an extent, i guess, and they know people do not quite use it all up. the clients who do tend to run wild with disk space as far as i know are doing illegal stuff, and will eventually get caught and terminated. so with proper management you can get good service from this type of provider, I think. But Beware... there are a lot of them on ebay that are not good, like exovian.com for example, stay away from them, from day 1 they were looking for a reason to terminate my account. Also speeddrives is not good in my opinion, their support person actually argued with me about my request to change my root domain name on the first day after setting it up, rather than trying to help. Well that's it, just my opinion. Since I was looking for something along the same lines, originally, I thought i'd share my experience with you. I'm more willing to pay a little more for it now, for peace of mind. But if you're new to reseller hosting, you are just starting out and just have a bare bones few clients and want to get your feet wet , but want room to expand later, I say give integrityhost.net a shot. Eric has been nothing but helpful and has gone way out of his way to help with things he didn't really have to do. G

possible humerous text to follow, please delete if inappropriate} I've done some extensive research on this, and personally i'd go with 192.168.1.1 over 127.0.0.1 any day.. let me tell you why. everything was working great and fast and super good.. but then when i was on my parents computer and my computer was off.. i noticed that they no longer worked. i was puzzle, so i turn on my computer and still no work from my parents computer.. so I switched to 192.168.1.1 and all my problems SOLVED!! -plus: always up, NO LIMITS, very fast as 127.0.0.1, and can access from parents computer!

WOW! I'm getting amazing pings on 127.0.0.1... I want to get a few servers in their datacenter!

127.0.0.1 is unlimited and free, let me order too

Posted by vivehosting, 02-16-2004, 12:04 PM
let me just clear one thing up before this goes any further... the joke was dead before the first page ended :p.

The only unlimited place I've found is espindas.com, which isnt for resellers, only for hosting. My friend is hosted by them, so they arent a scam.

Posted by GreatDaneOwner, 02-16-2004, 12:39 PM
All scam hosts had customers who had friends, and they were still a scam. I'm not implying that your friend's host is a scam; I'm just saying that your proof doesn't seem enough for me. BTW, what's the big deal about 127.0.0.1? I'm not satisfied with the support I'm getting from them. GDO

I switched from 127.0.0.1 to http://localhost/ and have seen a hugh differance. Good luck on finding an unlimited everyting reseller you might want to try: fly-by-night-reseller.com steal-my-money-reseller.com

But we still think its funny or else we havent found out its a joke yet... Well we have to be real, will anyone give you a million USD for free? No! Then no one can provide unlimited everything for free! Reselling providers have prices too. They buy hardware, software and bandwidth! Do you then think they will provide it all to you for free, then you are welcome
