Do you do like this??

Posted by seekhosting, 02-16-2004, 09:05 AM
Hi, I have 3 Reseller Plans in a hosting company for about 2 years. At first the service is very excellent. About 9 months ago, the service become worst. They answer questions usually for more than 24 hours. As many members post negative feedbacks on their forum, the hosting company removed the forum. Last month, the hosting company install the forum again. However, they only allow POSITIVE comments. All negative posts will be removed very soon. Moreover, your member will also be banned. Now the forums have only good posts! EXCELLENT company images for visitors !!!! I just want to know if you guys will do like this. P.S. The Reseller Plan is not cheap - 4 GB space, 25 GB bandwidth, $44.95 monthly fee. However, the support is worst now!! Best regards

This is not a bad place to start looking at for ideas of course Maybe they let go of a good admin or something, or maybe they cut back on support staff that you notice such a difference. I wonder what happened to them 9 months ago that everything would have changed...

Maybe they don't care about you anymore. The main problem is to move all accounts to a new server. If you dont do that now things could get worse or don't. I'ts a very personal matter that you should think first and by yourself, because you have not guaranties that the new host will be better. One thing is sure, maybe you should get two accounts in two differents hosts... ...or maybe not...

For 2/3 of your actual price you will get one or two acceptable accounts in other hosts, with some chances to be happy. For that price why dont you buy a VPS account, they are cheaper then that. .. it's another option...

That is certainly not cheap at all, shows that paying a premium does not automatically mean good service.

move, and quick! there are some very good companies (a couple which have been on the boards recently that have merged included) which will give you better service and be cheaper.
