LISTERROR with my website backup file - help please?

Posted by liquidfractal, 06-17-2009, 04:09 PM
I have created a Cpanel full backup of my website. The file is 2.65GB in size, but when I log in with my FTP client, I get a LISTERROR - [filename] and the filename doesn't appear in the directory window. Can I still use a custom command to download this file? Can someone please help me? I was shafted by HostRefugee and am desperately trying to salvage my website! Thanks...

Have you got root access to the server, if so you can use scp scp -r /home/backup/cpbackup root@xx.xx.xx.xxx:/home/

I'm on a shared hosting plan that is about to close down, so the best I can do is issue custom commands from my FTP client. I'm also relatively illiterate with regards to UNIX commands, so if someone could explain to me how this works I'd deeply appreciate it!
