Email Issue on my dedicated box

Email Issue on my dedicated box Greetings: I have an account on a Cpanel server wehre the account owner has not checked the default email address cpanel creates in 3 years. As a result, there are 154,000 emails sitting in there. Is there a way I can just delete all of them off the server all at once? Also, is there a way I can keep this from happening on all of my accounts? P.S.- I think I posted this in the wrong forum earlier for cpanel so excuse my double post. __________________ Chris Farrugia, REALTORNaples Real Estate

ConfigServer has an addon utility that allows you to easily empty a mailbox: http://www.configserver.com/cp/cmm.html

That tool above should do it, but if it hasn't been checked for 3+ years at all, you probably have a lot of work left to do, more than meets the eye :\ I'd recommend transferring your account to a new server or just back this account and reinstall the server. Good luck __________________█• CirtexHosting • Providing Affordable and Quality Web Hosting

He probably has a catchall setup. To stop this in the future edit the valias file: /etc/valiases/domain.com find the line that looks like *: username make it look like *: :fail: it wont store default mail anymore. __________________Steven CiaburriSystem Administration ExtraordinaireCompetent Linux Server Management from Rack911
