Public test proxy for testing virtual hosts?

Is there a public test proxy site available which allows testing virtual hosts without changing DNS first? I'm looking for this as a tool during migration, where I have a copy of a web site on a server using name-based virtual hosting. I want to access the site specifying the server IP address and hosted domain name, even though DNS is not yet pointing to that IP address. Yes, I know I can do this by fussing with the "hosts" file on Windows, but that's annoying when I need to access both the old and new sites. (Most hosting services provide a "utility domain name" for this sort of thing, but I'm dealing with one that doesn't. This is a temporary situation.)

You could probably work the other way round .. You can access the original site using the proxy such as anonymouse.org and the migrated site from the localhost
