Can someone see who I am from a website hosted on my server?

I have a Linode with cPanel + WHMXtra installed. I had a friend ask to point his domain, and host his files on my VPS Box. This would save him a lot of money, and cost me nothing extra. My question is, if he owns the domain (and it's private) and I allow him to host his files on my VPS, can someone see that I am associated with that site in any way? Would it help if I got the site it's own Dedicated IP address?

If both domains are configured as virtual hosts, it wouldnt be possible to find the connection from a purely technical point of view. Data aggregators, such a Domaintools, would still reveal it though.

Linode won't give you a dedicated IP for that.

If hosted on shared IP then its so easy to check it however many peoples host site on same server. Many of hosting company host their resellers website on same server. You can try to get a extra additional IP Address. Many of provider happy to provide extra IP.

It is easy if you have such a database at hand, respectively paid for it. Otherwise it isnt.
