Bocking requests coming to our VPS from old website

Hi, We are running our domain on a new VPS. Previously the domain function was in a way that there are lots of websites who have a chunk in their source code, pointing to 3 specific URLS on our domain. The URLs being requested are: site.com/gbb/1.php site.com/gbb/1.js site.com/images/1.png They're using lots of memory in new VPS. How can I block these requests so that they don't use our resources, specially memory? Thanks

What status code does your server return for these URLs? If it is 404 there is not much you can do (except preventing it from appearing in the log file), but then it wouldnt use much resources either.

What web server you are using? If you are using IIS, it can be achieved by configuring the IIS Request Filtering.

Do you know the websites from where the requests originate? You could simply block them.
