my.iperweb.com OverZold CPU Abuse

After 3 day's of running my OverZold VPS while installing a python module's my system halted. I went onto a support ticket to find that apparently installing python modules in a server with 4 cores and GB of ram put it at 200% load. I severely doubt this and it is also fitting that they hide the resource monitor after suspending your system. Also after responding to the ticket of which was only created 2 minutes ago they have not responded within 2 hours. Can they not just cap my server to what i ordered instead of allowing me to go over then suspending. Seemed like a scam at first as it was only 3 days in so it seemed like they didn't want to continue providing the service. But i am still waiting for a response and will continue to update this thread.

Interesting Wasn't exactly following your timeline on the tickets, but please do keep us updated.

Overselling perhaps? Hope you will get it resolved with your provider.

Suspended Again "Ged Robertson 2016-09-11 20:10:36 Ok but i have had it capped with CPULimit and it has been running consistently below 4 ever since. Attachments Capture.PNG John Deer 2016-09-11 20:07:58 Rate my response I am sorry, but we cannot go on like this. Thank you, John" Nevermind if a 4 core CPU cant run my python based server then i dont know what can. I have had it capped way below there "limit" for the entire day then it gets suspended again. Their graph system doesent coalign with my servers usage, Takes almost a day to update and showed that i was running at half my limit before i was suspended. Would not reccomend OpenVZ packages will be looking for a new provider that can cap a CPU without the person receiving the service stressing going over a limit that is based on "cores"? I dont understand it but overall a bad service having me stress over a limit 24/7. I tried almost every linux application to cap the cpu. Although in their terms of service they reserve the right to do this its overall poor service.

Hi Ged, Perhaps it is time to part ways? There's hundreds, even thousands of providers out there.. most with only the best of intentions and provide an awesome service. Many thanks, Jacob.

Already have the price was good for the performance still looking. My process used <1gb of ram but requires alot of CPU and they were providing 4 cores which was great but its hard to find that elsewhere.
