Company Recommendations

Hey, First let me thank you all for such a great website. I have been reading a lot lately here about different hosting companies. Actually, i am looking for a new hosting company and i am kinda a stuck. We are few developers who have develop apps, so we need both production and development servers. Until now, we have been using linode for development and we are more than happy. They have very reliable servers, high up time, good support and cheap prices. But storage at linode is expensive. So, i am on hunt looking for new hosting companies where adding a new instance of either VPS or Cloud is simple and cheap. Extra storage can be added any time. I have looked at AWS and Google Cloud. AWS, for me feels like overpriced cheap hardware. While Google doesn´t give that speed which we got from Linode. I have also looked at OVH and Hetzner but their reviews are awesome NOT! Bluehost, RamNode, Hostgator does not fit either. So, please recommend any good hosting company that you may know. 2GB+ Ram, 1-3 Cores, 50-100GB SSD, Good In/Out Network, Single IP OK!, Private Network MUST! Should be able to create new instances anytime.

What kind of budget and locations are you looking for?

Cloud can be expensive especially if you need more storage. Your best bet is a dedicated server with ssd.

If I were you, I wouldn't change my providers after getting good support. You shouldn't. Try contacting them and explain your situation that prices are high for you and if they can offer any discount. Do also mention that you are happy with their service but you have to move out because of price. Stress on that. No provider wants to lose a good client. You may get an offer. However, if you must move out, considering your focus is storage, consider having a dedi. However, that will also be costly since you will also need backup storage for your dedi.

Location = Europe, Budget = Between 30 - 50$ for each instance. Yeah, Thanks that actually a good-advice

I can recommend you to check Netherlands based companies for such low budget (taking into account you need Europe based company). But I would recommend you to check lowend dedicated server options instead of VPS.

If you need storage, check out dedicated servers at SoYouStart or Kimsufi (both re-branded OVH). I never had any issues with SoYouStart dedicated boxes, other than somewhat sluggish performance at times, but I was loading it up. SYS's customer service was good at resolving any support issues that I had in a reasonable amount of time and their dedi servers are dirt cheap. Best of luck.
