I think the 30-40Gb is a typo? What is your budget that you're looking to purchase in?

Hello, How many websites do you wish to run on this server and how many visitors do you expect per day. Are you sure you just need 30-40 GB bandwidth/month? The bandwidth seems to be very less. You need to cross check it once again.

No typo. It's just to host 5 small sites. I don't really want to set a budget as I want to see what can be done. Last month's usage was only 9GB data total. I don't need huge bandwidth, I want to swap the bandwidth for more RAM or HDD.

Any preference in terms of OpenVZ or Xen/KVM? Also a budget is important to recommending a provider. - Daniel

Prefer KVM/Xen but can live with OpenVZ. I use Vultr today so that is what I am comparing my costs to. None of the plans I can see offer what I need. Either too much bandwidth or not enough RAM or too much HDD.

If that is your comparison then your best bet is to just go into the offer section and contact providers for quotes for your custom plan. Most providers do 'most common' specs and most people need more bandwidth than that.

If it's just 5 small sites why do you require so much disk space? Are you mentioning that amount based on what you're getting with your current provider?

What you are hosting on small site?

Not everyone over estimates their bandwidth needs and starts out asking for "100TB" of bandwidth

Thank you ! I have stats over the past 12 months so i am pretty in touch with my need s But seriously folks, still looking for the ideal plan. HostUs has 3GB / 120GB / 4vCPU shared / OpenVZ for $7.xx anyone with experience with them?

You won't really get any offers from here since it is not allowed. Your best bet is to check the vps offers and contact providers you think that will give you that cheap vps.
