guys need your advice on something - im launching a deal a day e-commerce website so need my deal alerts and online coupons after purchase to land users inbox - we cant afford deal alerts or coupons to land on junk box i heard we need to verify with ISP's to avoid blacklisting - but these are enterprise solutions ISP's dont talk to individuals/companies???- these email management companies like Sprinklr.in have relationship with big ISP's sprinklr is working out to be very expensive for me considering our model has thin margins i think the hosting isnt an issue - we have VPS can takeup another VPS or another host for hositing our email database - is it required and are there any specialists? but email delivery and email hosting are two separate science - our concern is more of delivery, hosting isnt a big issue right ? do for delivery there are guys like constant contact and sprinklr but very expensive we can use some cheaper third party scripts to send the edm - can som1 guide us ? In such case you can definately go with third party email marketing company. Just google around for email campaign and you will see many top companies.

You could setup your own smtp server and have your application deliver e-mails through it but you will need to set it up properly, and have domain keys, spf records setup, as well as request to be white labeled on some popular e-mail providers, and make sure that all e-mails correspond with anti-spam policies (unsubscribe links, for example).

to host your own mail delivery, might be cheaper and might not, depends on the scale of your commerce, and do you have required techs to administer such platform?

okie am going for intersipre - a self hosted emailer soultion - but wondering where to host it - the website is hosted with liquidweb VPS - but shouldnt i take separarte hosting for emailers...any specialised host?
