Reseller Hosting Questions

Posted by Darkwoods, 05-09-2014, 04:33 PM
Hello I have been looking at this now for over 3 weeks I'm having trouble finding a good Reseller Hosting that would offer my clients .SE and .NU domain registrars. OpenSRS seems to offer these domain extensions but the Question is which Reseller Hosting companies are partner with OpenSRS most reseller hosing companies i came across offers Enorm which don't have .SE & .NU available. Also as a Domain/Hosting reseller based in Europe what is the legal works I have to do on my end so my work can be mostly all legal? Do I need to provide business registration number? If anyone could point out some of the major legality points in the domain/hosting reselling business it would be more than great! The thing is I have never had to deal with these things as a freelance web designer so I have no idea if I have to write my own User Agreements and so on , if that is the case then things will just become even harder to do! So I kindly ask you to help me out as I'm total n00b in this My budget is $40 a month - 1TB+ Bandwidth - 100GB+ Space - Free whmcs or something similar - Good and fast support - .SE/.NU domain availability for my client registrations I found Site5 but not so sure about them.. Any recommendation would be thankful Thank you.

I would always suggest you register domain elsewhere than hosting provider. Its always safe! Separate the domain registration and hosting. I do not know the exact reseller who could provide those domains though. As far as i know, you should be authorized to deal with particular business if you are going full fledge as a company. Else just as a freelancer then you could setup your own documents. Depends from country to country though. Make sure you will have no responsibility for client hostings, and they are responsible for their acts. Budget is decent. You should be able to find good hosts. Good Luck with your startup.

Your budget is enough to find a reliable reseller hosting (even a managed VPS). I recommend Hostdime or Surpasshosting(I had moved them from Site5 long time ago because of my bad experiences. But Site5 services could be improved until now).

A lot of reseller providers can do the hosting for you but I'd say the only domain registration provider I could find for .nu and .se which I would trust is http://www.101domain.com/domain_name...tration/se.htm http://www.101domain.com/domain_name...tration/nu.htm I wish you the best of luck in your search.

In My honest Openion, Option 1 : 100 GB Plan with Primehost http://www.theprimehost.com/cpanel-r...r-hosting.html Option 2 : ( Recommended ) 100 GB Managed VPS with TMZ https://www.tmzvps.com/command/cart.php?a=add&pid=58

I'd check every registrar supported by WHMcs and see which ones (if any) support the TLDs you need. WHMcs makes it easy to select the registrar per TLD, so no problems using multiple domain resellers if you need to.

I recommend paying $15 directly to WHMcs to get your OWN WHMcs license as there are advantages to this. That then leaves you with $25 for choosing reseller account without WHMcs from any provider you like, even if they do not include WHMcs in the price of their plans, which can work out cheaper.

I would recommend you to look for Reseller plans with Turnkey solutions were you get complete package for your customers.
