This are my common problems 500 internal errorBlacklisting (I am not spammer)Malicious codes in websitesHacked websites OK, I need fast response and solutions to the above mentioned. Now my PROVIDER options are: Hostdime Crocweb Host4geeks hostforweb I think they are more good Providers, but I would like your recommendations in this options (If you think you have a better option, I will glad to know) THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

I take it your current hosts isn't helping with those? Find a host that uses proper mod_security rules, possible uses cloudlinux and configserver cxs or something similar. That's part of the prevention of course, but the most important is to keep scripts patched/secure and update to date (but your host should be able to point you in the right direction).

My current host is helping me with all this, but now the support is extreme slow, in the past they fixed the problems in 20-30 minutes even less!, today they respond in 8-10 hours and the last ticket was 3 days! I am talking about HOSTGATOR

10 hours is a long time, but 3 days, are you sure they didn't close it and think it's resolved? That seems like a long time. We had a bunch of people move over recently, but I had no idea their times had increased that badly. Last edited by trustedurl.com; 08-28-2013 at 01:08 PM.

No they didn´t close it. I contacted live support and they said...WAIT! the ticket is in queued....etc etc Today, (minutes ago) I had another hiccup with the emails and websites all downs for 1-2 minutes. I need to move faster! and will be this weekend, because in Canada (I live in Canada) is a long weekend is the perfect time for DNS changes

Hey, I'm in Canada (Toronto) too << snipped >> Yes, this long weekend would be ideal for moving. Be sure to lower the TTL on the DNS so things move quicker. Last edited by net; 08-28-2013 at 07:45 PM.

I've heard a lot of good stuff about CrocWeb generally. So, you'd be good with them. These problems mostly arise when the hosting company is not very careful with their servers or an incompetent person is running the servers with monitoring. Good Luck for your future reseller hosting!

You are right! Now, your advice with the PROVIDER OPTIONS? What do you think? Regards

UPDATE: I contacted CROCWEB, and chatted with SALEs, they said that the cannot clean any script compromised or clean malicious codes. They sad that is my responsibility to clean it. I understand that is my responsibility to keep the script updated, but I require help cleaning and scanning the account compromised (I don´t have the tools to do that) That means, one option down!

That's surprising, it's so easy to scan an account and give you a list of files that require your attention...

Posted by adsoma, 08-28-2013, 07:12 PM
What kind of software or tool do you use in that case? << snipped >> Last edited by net; 08-28-2013 at 07:43 PM.

You would be responsible for cleaning an infected account. That would mean re-uploading clean files or restoring to an earlier date using backups. Then ensure each script/plugin/addon/theme is up to date and change all passwords. You can run a virus scan through cPanel or use "sitecheck.sucuri.net" for example. You should not require any special tool. When we find an infected account, we run a virus scan by default and provide the client with details of any malware found.

He should post here instead of PM.

I use ConfigServer CXS to scan for these things and ClamAV.

In my current provider they detect and clean the site for me. A few days ago I checked one of customers website because 500 internal error. And I used several website including "sitecheck.sucuri.net" and the results came "clean" After a few days later 500 internal error again, I contacted my provider and they fixed and CLEAN some malicius codes and folders in the website.(the malware was changing folder permission) That is that I need! Now my provider is taking 8-10 hours to answer even 3 days

Check the error_log, it will tell you what the issue is. I'll take a look if you're interested.

THANK YOU I really appreciate your help, the problem was solved once I contacted my provider, and that time they did in 1 hour, detect and clean it. But now I am looking move my services to other provider with that kind of help.

Did they tell you what was the issue? And I recommend CrocWeb, because when I was with them, they had great support and great uptime. Couldn't of asked for more from them. Good luck.

Yes they did, but once they clean the website. Thanks for your recommendation, now the key question: Why did you leave CrocWeb?
