Ceph Installation

| Hi,
Setup as below
mon01
mon02
osd01
osd02
osd03
osd04
mon* is monitor the osd machine. All running using centos 7. Have anyone here use it? I try to install and half way getting error:

I still try locate where is the error and fix it. Please assist me.

| Anyone here has use ceph? HDD as data and ssd as journal?

| I use Ceph, all SSDs though. If this isn't urgent for you, you may want to wait for the next major release which I think will be out in the next few weeks.
What version are you trying to install?

| I think will proceed with hammer (LTS). I just start fresh install. Will update later. This setup will bring data center after complete.

| Because 'Jewel' is on the verge of release I'd probably recommend going with the 'Infernalis' release so you don't have to jump two versions to upgrade. The Jewel release is supposed to have some huge performance improvements so I think it will be worth upgrading to.
I ran into a few issues during provisioning on Infernalis where I had to chown the block devices to ceph, so like chown ceph:ceph /dev/sda2... this may be part of the issue you're facing. I'm also running CentOS7 here.

| No wonder on infernalis, when try to activate osd it keep asking auth. Chown not working also. Must be a bug. Hope it fix already.
