Hi all, Bit stuck so going to ask here. Anyone know how to securely provide in shared hosting environment access to SQL Server DB Mail and Stored Procedures? We use SQL Server 2012 and customers get error when trying to use SQL DBMail saying they need to be in sysadmin group which I do not really want to give

I sure do! You are getting that error because as of now, only sysadmin has the permissions needed. What you need to do is configure DB Mail with a user account and permissions. Here an an excellent guide to get you up and running with DB Mail. The guide covers setting up a user account for sqlmail, setting up the profiles and testing. You can scroll down to reach the security section, but I'd recommend going through the whole thing. If you prefer the more "manual" approach, you can check this out as well
