Hi, Have you tried installing vsftpd? If yum is not working, try downloading it http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/os...4.1.x86_64.rpm rpm -ivh vsftpd-2.2.2-11.el6_4.1.x86_64.rpm Then try using below commands: # ftp hostname give the username and password as it prompts.

Are you saying yum can not find any package? I would resolve that issue first as you should be able to find a package called ftp if I'm not mistaken http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat...86_64.rpm.html

Hi, You can install the commands by downloading the rpm and installing it directly. http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/os...el6.x86_64.rpm http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/os...el6.x86_64.rpm
