How is Cloudflare working with certificates?

Hello, I would like to know how CloudFlare handles SSL certificates? I have bought Thawte SSL123 for my domain, does it show green https:// when I forward my traffic via CloudFlare when I have free plan with them? If not, which actions do I have to take to make it work?

You must upgrade to CloudFlare Pro in order to use a SSL. Otherwise, there is no other way. I believe CloudFlare already provides you with their own SSL for free if you opt in for their CloudFlare Pro plan.

Yup, this ^^ You can't use Free CloudFlare for https. But pro accounts get an included SSL.

Just to add a couple more data points to the discussion, you can use your SSL certificate without a Pro account by turning off CloudFlare (DNS page, click on the orange cloud so it goes grey). Also, if your certificate is for PCI compliance, Flex is not compliant. More on CF SSL: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en...ble-Full-mean-
