Write messages on webmaster forums by adding your web site url to your signature. And can give advertise to popular sites of your country and to search engines like Google.

thanks for the responses, i have been asked about providing low cost packages for wahm's of which i started off as one. I have looked at creating a sub domain, then setting up a basic hosting package for the customer, in my reseller control panel it appears i can do this and link the sub domain to the hosting package, but will this then give that sub domain their own log in page? totally seperate from mine.

the reason i ask is because some wahm's starting out dont want to purchase a domain name, but i dont want them having access to my control panel..

ok thanks, just to clarify, i create the sub domain, then direct it to a new hosting package, then they get their own control panel.. Completely seperate from mine? Wanted to be sure before i made it an option. Not sure what WHM means? I am with fasthosts advanced reseller.

WHM is also known as WebHostManager. Their control panel would be seperate from yours.

i create the sub domain, > then direct it to a new hosting package, > then they get their own control panel.. It might be good to get the terminology right from the beginning, not to confuse your clients and yourself A "sub-domain" would be something like: "sub.domain.com" But with WHM can can create full domain hosting accounts ("domain.com"). WHM control panel (for server admin) -- WHM control panel (for reseller) --- cPanel control panel (for domain owners) Best, John

dont worry i knew what i meant lol.. I will admit i dont know everything.. and am grateful for this site. But i have the basics down.. just wasnt sure how the sub.domain thing worked.. Didnt want offer it as an option if it didnt work. LOL that would make me look stupid. think i willl test it out first though.. to be sure i have done it right. When i first started with my own online store it was set up as a sub.domain and we had our own control panels..just never done it for someone else.
