LoopBack IP's

I have a new server (FreeBSD) including 8 IP's. But this time they with "loopBack IP's". I have no idea how to use those. Treat them the same as normal IP's? Running my own name servers.

Loopback IPs are normally those assigned to the localhost. They cannot be used for external communication. range of 127.0.0.1 - 127.255.255.255 are used as lo.
