How can I know one hosting company is a sub reseller of which company?

| If the sub reseller company has perfectly configured anonymous private nameservers, then it may be difficult to trace the parent company of that reseller..

Just ask them most of the time they will tell you. And if not then well you will never know its not a bad thing if they are you never know they could know what they are doing and get things done!

| Did you try IP whois? Most of the time, those provide the rWhois information which includes the provider name.
