Is it possible to bridge an linux VPS to the nic ?

I don't want to waste an external IP on the host server. So I would to put an internal IP on the NIC for management purpose. The server NIC connects to the switch with two network (external / internal IP) What I'm wondering is if any of the linux visualization platform could allow me to set the VPS to have direct access to the NIC (bridged). I know with vmware (Windows), the VPS could set to bridged so it can have an external IP address without having the traffic routed through the host server.

You can do that with KVM and Xen.
