Ecatel down

Posted by McVaio, 02-08-2010, 07:42 AM
Hi, I just wanted to check with you guys whether Ecatel has network issues or if it's just my server. I can't reach their support page nor do they reply to e-mails sent to info@ecatel.net. Are there other Ecatel customers who are currently experiencing issues? Yours

I don't use their services, but ecatel.net opens here just fine. If you could tell us your server IP or some website hosted on it, we could tell you if we can access/ping that particular ip/website.

Indeed ecatel.net is online, but helpdesk.ecatel.net isn't. I am not claiming it's Ecatel's fault, but getting no reply from them worries me a bit. Normally they respond to emails pretty quickly. Could you try pinging to 89.248.163.170? Thanks!

helpdesk.ecatel.net - works here Pinging 89.248.163.170 with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out.

Yep, now it suddenly does work, I just tried to reach the support website again. Well, hopefully this will soon happen to the other server as well..

Hello, We are currently not aware of any network issues. Can you please provide us your client ID or ticket number in PM. Thanks.

Hello, Indeed it seems these are particular issues with my account, and it has nothing to do with Ecatel's service. This board doesn't allow me to send PM's (yet). There are some things unclear for me though. I got a response to ticket #WUP-688416 and I replied to ticket #WUP-688416 directly by e-mail, is that OK? If so, we can continue the conversation by e-mail. Thank you for your replies and awaiting your response on my recent e-mail messages. It would be nice if the conversation could speed up a bit. Yours

I just read PM's take 5 posts. So here is my 5th post, I hope it will work this way. @ admins, sorry for the double. "If you choose to make meaningless posts to circumvent this restriction, your account will be disabled." I hope this case will be understood. EDIT: Still not allowed. Well, all hopes are set for the e-mail conversation then.

To clear things up: The problem was completely on our side. My apologies to Ecatel and thank you for your support! This thread can be closed/removed or whatever the moderators find an appropriate action.
