Posted by mixmox, 05-11-2013, 12:04 AM
hello i have run "running yum-complete-transaction" to solve yum error when it runs: The program yum-complete-transaction is found in the yum-utils package. There are unfinished transactions remaining. You might consider running yum-complete-transaction first to finish them. after run "running yum-complete-transaction" it found 121 package to remove and no new install or update for them should i answer yes and complete it?

I think its possible that the new packages were indeed installed and the old version was not. Do rpm -qa | grep package_name to see if there are two versions of one of the ones that yum wants to uninstall.

To safely complete the incomplete yum transactions I would recommend running: yum install yum-utils yum-complete-transaction --cleanup-only yum update
