We have a lot of clients running Varnish, Nginx, and PHP-FPM on Virtualmin. But as soon as you start talking about cPanel, it becomes difficult to replace Apache completely. But everything is possible! It just takes work. Are people really interested in a cPanel environment running solely on Nginx? Regards

Hasn't the answer been simply "no" because apache is so deep rooted?

ok....so ? can anyone help me with that...i have this wordpress website with a lot of traffic and now is running on a apache+nginx platform but is not what i want...the server is overloaded at any time... The best solution for me is the one i said it in my topic title too...can anyone help me with that? Dont forgot i have cpanel...the idea is to disable apache and to run only nginx with those features mentioned above...

You can certainly use only Nginx instead of Apache with cPanel. But, the one thing you need to take care about security while not using Nginx. Actually, Apache is more secure because it supports module like mod_security. I found one useful link which will help you to increase the security level while using Nginx. http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/...ng_secure_code You should use other modules like PHP-FPM, APC, Varnish which will increase the performance of your WordPress website with high traffic. You can refer following tutorial which will help you to install these features: http://interfacelab.com/nginx-php-fpm-apc-awesome/
