small reseller

I'm looking for a host that offers small resellers. All I need is 2/3 GB of disk space and 10 or 20 GB bandwidth.

What is your budget? What is your other requirements? Also you can find a lot of reliable hosting provider by reading the reviews on WHT. Did you try it before than sent this message?

Also may want to try a host directory like http://findmyhost.com/ to find your requirements by search.

I think you may have to start with the offer section. You will be able to see quite a lot of them who will fit into your requirements. What is your budget? Don't go for a package that offers 10 or 20 times your need even if the price is low. That is just massive overselling and you will be compromising on reliability.

It's great you have some realistic resource usage opposed to the usual 3000GB space 300000GB bandwidth. But budget is also something that is necessary here. So posting what sort of price you are looking to pay would be very helpful along with other features you may need (PHP5, MySQL5, Ruby ect.)

Are you looking for a smaller reseller to start a web hosting company? Or are you looking for a plan, because you have multiple websites? I ask because many hosts support "addon domains", which allow you to host multiple websites from your account without too much hassle. A reseller account will normally come at a slightly higher cost, due to the additional features offered.

Most hosts should be fine for your needs, but do some research on each one so you don't fall into a trap of a dodgy host. Good luck.

I've searched and most hosts I come upon are big companies that offer like 2000GB bandwidth and space when realistically I don't need that much space and bandwidth. I'm just going to host myself and two other close friends. I know I won't use up to even 10 GB a month so I don't really need much. As for requirements, unlimited subdomains, mySQL database. My site and my friends are small wordpress blogs so I don't really need much.

I think there is plenty of host which offer something that can satisfies your need. It is like you are searching a good reliable and cheap host then? As for wordpress, you can always install Wordpress MU on your server. It allows you to have multiple wordpress blog within 1 installation. much much easier.

There are several Reseller companies that offer small starter packages that allow you to host say 3-5 domains within one account, I would take a look at something like that. <> Last edited by bear; 12-05-2007 at 07:52 AM.

If you don't have much traffic on your websites, I suggest going with resellerzoom budget plan one. The servers are a bit slow, but are just fine for html pages as well as less demanding websites.

If you don't care the budget, you can find what you need easily on some ad.

Do some searches on these forums and you'll see some names repeated often. I know places like resellerzoom, hostgator, knownhost and asmallorange, Dathorn, offer smaller accounts.

Have a look at pair.com advanced hosting plan ($17.95). Additional domains can be attached by paying a one time setup fee of $5 per domain. They offer serious spam protection.
