[CentOS] Encrypt server hard drives

I would want to know if there is any way to encrypt hard drives, so if anyone takes the drives can access to the data, I have read some tutorials but i'm not sure if encryption is possible without reformatting and losing the data. Thanks

For encryption, I suggest you to look trueCrypt: http://www.truecrypt.org/ It is free, open source encryption software for Linux.
