BetterLinux?

I see BetterLinux - the software apparently developed by Bluehost is going to be launched soon?

Does anyone know much about this?

It reads like they're going after CloudLinux. I have a feeling they're going to leverage cgroups. If this turns out to be the case, CL will wake up to a new competitor.
I've always wondered why CL hasn't switched to cgroups already...

In my opinion, I wouldn't call it a competitor just yet. It hasn't been released yet, has zero market share, and doesn't integrate with current software as CloudLinux does.
I would call it potential competition.

It really will be a major competitor to Cloud Linux.
Let's wait and see its release.

It will likely integrate nicely as I assume Bluehost will use it on their own servers when you have a large number of servers such as them simply building your own solution works out better in the long run than actually using a 3rd party provider

Just in case: CL6 is based on cgroups where possible. CL5 (2.6.18 kernel) is not.
And competition is always good.

CloudLinux will blow everything else out of the water for now... I'm doubtful cPanel will drop official integration/support for CL any time soon. CL are easily the pioneers with this sort of technology...
