Hello everyone, I know dynu sucks allot, I have had allot of problems with them and am switching to a new host as soon as they get back online. Does anyone know why they are currently down? they have been down for 2 days now, no email, i only get a machine when i call their number, even their site is down. Any idea why? Also is there anyone i can contact to find out why? thanks.

No idea. You can try their employee Chris Williams on Yahoo, ID shar0119.

I don't have Dynu for hosting, but I do have my domain registered through them, and it's not by choice. I've been trying to get my domain transfered away from them for nearly three years without success. They will not unlock my domain or give me a transferal code... So I've been renewing my domain year by year, spending $20 each time just to hold onto it. When ever your domain is in danger of expiring they send no notification what so ever, and when it does expire they take it down immediately. When I renewed this time around it took 72 hours for my domain to come back online. VERY IRRITATING! I figure I had another year to try again, but now their site is down completely and some reason my domain name servers were changed to a parked page without my permission! Now my email or web site doesn't work because it's not going to the right server. Dynu is a reseller of Tucows, and I tried contacting them but they "would like it if any issues be handled between the reseller and customer", so they don't even want to be involved or take responsibility. I finally found a reseller compliance number at Tucows and left a message yesterday. This is VERY annoying. I mean my domain shouldn't even be hooked up to their servers in any way... And my name servers were changed? Did they even renew my domain, or did they pocket the money? Is there anything we can do about this?

Have you had any luck contacting them? Or getting the transfer done?

Sounds like a worst-case scenario. Best of luck to all in getting your data. Kind Regards,
