Hello seniors, Please suggest how to do performance tuning of server in term of 1. memory 2. i/o operations 3. cpu load 4. anything suitable to make server should be running in optimum condition. 5. oracle.

It depends on the software you're running on the server and if it is a shared server with DirectAdmin of if you want to optimize the server for one website. Can you be a bit more specific about what you run on the server?

running application java base running database oracle.

Helpful information. Is this a physical server or virtual machine? OS? CentOS/Debian, etc? x64? Hard drive setup. SSD's? SAS 15K RPM? Hardware raid (what's the cache?)? all this is helpful for IO tuning.

viGeek Thanks for your kind reply here are answers of question. 1. It is a physical machine/dedicated server. 2. Operating system Centos 5.5 3. Hardware and O/s both 64 bit. 4. Hard-disk is SAS 15K and IDE as well.
