end user supported hosting recommendation

Hello, My name is Jennifer and I am new to this forum. I posted up my first post in this forum asking for customer support solution and some of the helpful members recommended hosts with end user support. With these hosts, we can easily have them to support our paying customers. I was given a short list of end user supported hosts but I have no idea which one is doing well. So far I think Innohosting works well. What is your recommendation? Is there host which charges good price(reasonable or cheap) and provide good service? Thanks.

So wait.. You're looking for a host which is cheap, reliable, and provides support to your end users? Mini

She wants a host that charges a reasonable price, reliable and provides end-user support. The best way to support your customers when you are a reseller is certainly to use the end-user support offered by the host. This does reduce your tech staff prices and still gives you the peace of mind that your customers are being taken care of. I would recommend that you send the companies you have in mind some presales questions. Get a feel of the company yourself and see how they respond. Is it the quality you expect? Would you like your customers being handled to that standard? Was support friendly? etc. Although recommendations made here should also be taken into account. Realise (nearly) everybody has a different experience with a host. It's important for you to get in contact with the host(s) you have in mind to judge for yourself Good luck!!

You should consider hiring your end user support services from a third party company instead of having it provided by your web host. You'll be able to find some more competitive costs that way.

I don't know about that. From what I've seen, outsourcing support isn't exactly cheap, especially on a small scale host (reseller).

Since end-user support limits your options severely, you may want to go a different route. Consider finding a host that responds very fast with reasonable and helpful responses. Then act as a proxy between them and your end-clients. At the end of the day, you wouldn't have to sacrifice reliability to choose a host on this short-list.

If you had taken the time to read into things, you would have found out that this user has already dicussed this option and the conclusion was made that going with a host that has end-user support already is the viable option, hence this thead. It would not make it financially viable for a reseller to pay seperately for end-user support that is going to cost maybe twice the price as the reseller account itself. This couldn't be further from the truth. I don't understand how a host that offers end-user support would be of any less reliability than a host doesn't? If anything that should indicate that the company has sufficient staff to be able to manage to support their resellers as well. It's no secret that we offer end-user support as the client has correctly mentioned. I don't see how that has affected our quality? In fact, I can't even make a logical connection between the two. End-user support and uptime/reliability don't have any impact on each other. I know a few other companies that offer end-user support and have no bad reviews on WHT (and they are long time members with customers from WHT). rohitj, you say she should find a company with quick responses and she can simply relay the messages or as you say act as a "proxy". Why add a middleman that would prolong response times.. What if she isn't online at the time to be the "proxy"? What if she decides to take a vacation? That would just put her back to square one..
