Posted by Kellter, 11-14-2011, 06:52 PM Well, caught a hack of my up to date XMB forum in progress stopped it before any damage. I'm fairly new to reviewing logs so I am learning as I go. They somehow changed the name of user ID#1 on the forum to admin and added their own password and email. I happened to be attempting to log on as it was happening. Does anyone have any experience with this attack or know where I can have my logs looked at? I attached a sample of the scan.I don't see this IP in the logs again after the scan and it looks like they got a 404 for all attempts.
