I forgot to mention that I perfer to have a private label or with some anonimity from the reseller to provide my own hosting image to my clients. Additionally, I perfer to host with the reliable uptime and good support host.

Hi i assume these are the plans you wish to resell? Most reseller plans allow you to create custom plans, so you could get a plan with lets say 3GB disk space, then can make accounts with 50MB disk space in etc. Last edited by ldcdc; 06-22-2006 at 02:16 PM.

I have a second reseller account with JodoHost but have only been with them for about 2 weeks. In that time I can tell you that their support ROCKS! I have had some situations that would have taken me much longer to resolve with the host on my other account. My problems were taken care of quickly and the answers that were given were straight and to the point. Even though it has only been a couple of weeks I have been very impressed with their server performance/uptime and especially their support. Also, they use H-Sphere as their control panel and I have to tell you the learning curve is a little steep compared to cPanel but H-Sphere is AWSOME! Especially for a reseller. Just my 2 cents........

I think you can get each of your package for under $5 per month. For private label, you can do it yourself as well. It's quite simple. Last edited by Albert R; 06-22-2006 at 12:23 PM.

Windows web hosting is generally a bit more expensive and reseller hosting on the Windows platform isn't really that hard to find but people can't generally quote costs here. It still comes down to what you're interested in for your control panel or the likes? You'll need to find one that's comfortable for you but, per your plans, you can easily create your own packages with most control panels. There's a host search at the top of the page and at the bottom of the forum there are offers in the appropriate sections where you might find something you're interested in. KGIII

Is there any preference to control panel i.e. Helm / Plesk etc? Also datacentre - UK or US based?

For the control panel, I prefer not to have Plesk as I personally do not like it. It is obvious that H-Sphere is quite a decent control panel among all but I rather want to choose easy and simple ones for the simplicity of control panel access for my clients. I would not mind to try other control panels that listens on normal port 80 and 443 or even custom made control panel if they are reliable and easy to use. For the database, primarily I need MS SQL and if there's an option I would like to have both of MySQL and MS SQL. Either US or UK data center is fine even though my preference is for US based datacenters. For the budget there are many reasons which I should not consider for the amouts that close to having an own VPS.

If you are looking for a Windows Host and don't want to consider H-Sphere, I'd say Plesk is your second best option if you want a stable, reliable, refined product. The other popular option is Helm but in my personal opinion it is buggy and doesn't match the programming standards of Plesk. Every control panel should be able to listen on 80/443. It depends on the host's configuration Always great to hear positive feedback from customers. I'm glad you are enjoying your stay at JodoHost

Helms not buggy? its probably the most popular windows control panel, buggy is probably one of the last things HELM is.

Of course, in hands of a good host like yourself it shouldn't make a difference. But that is the opinion I have held, and the opinion some of my admins hold too. We did consider it a while back and we weren't impressed. I'm certainly not impressed by their dev team. Plesk is just much more refined, and SWSOFT is a well-funded company. But of course, that is my opinion. It comes down to the host really and what the customer likes. I'd debate the fact whether its the most popular windows control panel out there. Do you have any numbers to support that? Remember, some of the largest Windows hosts are using custom-built control panels. Popularity wise, I think Plesk & Helm are equally matched.

What other options that I could find other than Plesk, Helm and H-Sphere?
