moving to esxi, ip justification.

What kind of IP justification would I need for this? I have a couple sites that run static Ips but I have OpenVPN setup that users reroute traffic thru for anonymity reasons. If you request even one you better have a dang good reason for it or they won't hand one out. But they will let me install my own operating system, so if I moved to ESXi... I think thats a pretty substancial reason, no? How does that work since theres such a shortage or issues getting IPs. I have to much going on inside one server but powerful enough to handle several different operating systems/tasks and I want to segment everything.
btw anyone use cpanel on esxi? it work out well?

Always remember that a virtual server is still a server and it needs an IP to talk with anyone. If you have 5 virtual servers on ESXi, you still need 5 IPs just as you would if they were physical servers.

No, you don't need more IPs. Use NAT for IPv4.
VPN/proxy is not valid justification.

ESXi is simply a hypervisor, so if you go with NATing, you'll need an external firewall/router.

yep i know. they have firewalls wont be a problem
And yes I know VPN/proxy is not valid justification but it comes in handy when everyone in the house wants to play a game and has a different ip
