Hosting Lite review

Posted by trendy, 02-21-2006, 04:24 AM
I was interested with the reseller account offered by HOSTING LITE (a wholly owned division of HiyaCorp Networks) So i opened a chat room with thier support team as i need to clarify some issues with them before signing up. Here's the respond i got from them, truly disappointed. Anyone had/have experience with them? Attached Thumbnails

You are speaking to one of their tech support reps and not sales. They are just asking you to contact sales for appropiate questions.. Rus

Yup. Looks that way from where I'm standing as well.

That's quite an interesting exchange there, looks like Hiya needs to review the performance of their outsourced support techs.

Looking at thumbnails I noticed "Ambient Solutions" these guys were running serverdivison one month before. I was nearly out of hosting business because of server downtime and they were very rude in response too. The point here is that I don't believe in anything that is associated with "Ambinet Solutions".

Our techs are great at what they do...Technical Issues. You had pre-sales questions, which should be directed to our sales department. I'm not sure what time zone you are in, but our sales team is on chat from 9:00AM-5:00PM CST. Asking a technical support representive how much an IP prices is just like asking a sales tech how to properly design a website or setup a linux server. There are different categories for different reasons. ~Fred

Ambient just owns HiyaCorp. They have no real say in day to day operations. That would be me. Trust me, ServerD and HiyaCorp are two completly different companies. SD wasn't Ambients fault. The previous owner said to Ambient either take it off my hands or I will shut down the company. Ambient simply held SD while we could find someone to take care of the company. ~Fred

Thanks for pointing that out. Also if they want to know about costs they need to contact the sales team at sales@ and not ask tech support. Tech can help you with questions on the plans but not costs!

You should have contacted sales in the first place, I do not see why there is any reason for you to be disappointed if the support person asked you to contact the sales for sales inquiries. Two different departments.

I would recommend a search for hiyacorp.com in this forum before you sign up. Good luck!

Thread closed. I think there's little reason to leave it open.
