Good reseller package – reliable company (Linux/FreeBSD)

Posted by mihai11, 12-01-2005, 04:10 AM
Hello, I want to buy a reseller package (Linux/FreeBSD). Until know I only had a standard account. Are there any special things to look for when buying a reseller package ? Your input is appreciated. Regards, Razvan

Well resellers depend on ur needs and specifications and what ur customers would like say would they perfer cpanel or plesk or other control panel , than u decide after doing some survey which one would suite you and you start looking for a provider that provides that control panel. Other things to look for are if they have any money back gaurentee cause if u dont like their service you might wana shift to other host . Other than that support / costs/ Speeds etc. comes in play also . Regards.

Moved to Reseller Hosting. You can learn a lot about reseller hosting from reading this forum. Lois

One thing I've been suggesting to some other people: Check out the hosting offers forum, find a price you like, contact the company, ask us for our opinion of the company, and then make your choice. Good Luck.

I already made my choice: I'll go with jodohost. They have very good reviews here on WHT. Regards, Razvan

Good Luck with the host you chose. Make sure to post a review of them!

Glad to hear you have decided to choose JodoHost, they do have good reviews. Be sure to update us in a few months on your experience! Best of luck

I can update you with my experience till now. After buying the package manual intervention is done from the host's side. On their page its says that they are verifying the credit card details. In practice this means that they will call you on the phone. I was a bit disappointed that I was not able to use my new account immediately but they called me in approximately 15minutes. 20 minutes later my seller account was ready. About the account itself: it is the first time that I am using a reseller account. Previously I worked with CPanel as a simple user. This host is using HSphere. It looks a bit complicated. I have to read how to use it before creating my first account !! Anyway, until now, everything looks good (no wonder, since I am their client for approximately 5 hours ) Regards, Razvan

HSphere is incredible !! The power of this software is astonishing. CPANEL is a toy compared with HSphere! Regards, Razvan

Id go with gazzin, I've used them in the past and was very happy with my service. They have very cheap costs, very reliable support, as well as a 1 month free trial

Great to see you are enjoying HSphere. Regarding telephone verification, that is something we have unfortunately been forced to do due to the increasing amount of online fraud. But we have a 24x7 sales team as you must have noticed, ready to work with you and call you up at any time you find convenient

I can vouch for Yash, the telephone verification is easy. I was in a hurry to get setup so I jumped into Live Chat and asked if they could get me setup soon. Within five minutes they called and I was setup and working with Hsphere. I am no longer with Jodo because I didnt like Hsphere and didn't have the time to learn it for the project I was doing. But when I revisit Hsphere, Jodo is the ONLY place I will go.

Key things as usual would be the following: Reliable support (15 minute response time, AIM support) Knowledgable, friendly staff Ping, power, stability, uptime
