Have new VPS - Load Testing
Posted by IamValue, 02-16-2011, 12:05 PM |
I have my new VPS with 1and1.com and have setup my Website.
It is Windows VPS with 1GB RAM.
Is there an easy way to Load Test the website?
I am interested in seeing how many Users can be served by a single VPS. Any help is appreciated.

You could try loadimpact.com. Though the free test only goes up to 50 users.

You can use LoadImpact.com to test your site's response to 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 simultaneous users (that's the free test, IIRC).
It eats up bandwidth, so be careful if you have a low limit on bandwidth with your plan at 1and1.

I will give it a try, but I am sure the VPS can handle 50 Users, if not I am in trouble :-)
Can anybody share numbers from their VPS? Whats the max users you have seen on your VPS?
