4GB for $10 You`ll be lucky to find any quality hosting for that price. You could try resellerzoom, they seem to be quite popular around here as a budget company.

Reliable hosting and $10 for 4GB of space are not to likely to go together unfortunately. If you need 4GB space you need to look towards at "least" doubling your budget to find a reliable quality reseller host. Good luck!

What about those reseller accounts that offer unlimited disk space and transfer? Sounds like a good deal - anyone have advice about those offers? Thanks

Unlimited disk space - impressive!

Unlimited diskspace and unlimited bandwidth are impossible. Have you seen an unlimited hard drive for computers yet? Have you seen unlimited internet lines available yet? Nope because it simply is not possible and those that offer "unlimited" are lieing to you.

Thanks a lot. I found ResellerZoom has a very attractive offer. 5 Gb/ 75 Bandwith for 13$. JSHost is more convenient to me because is in UK, closer to Romania, but their price is 15 UK Pounds 5Gb/50 Bandwith. Otherwise I see no advantages. Best wishes

If you buy unlimited space or transfer, you better have unlimited time to apologize to your customers when it goes down

Hmm... I should get one of those accounts and sell hosting to Yahoo, Google, MSN, EBay etc. Unlimited anyways Probably put it to good use to, set up a mirror for Linux and other Open Source projects. Bandwidth everywhere else is so expensive anyways

Unlimited domain hosting for $4.95/mo....... Hmmmm, die server, die. I'll give them a year or so and then we can come back to WHT and gobble up their clients. No forum, no stats, wonder what they're really like? They're a year in now so won't be long now.

You think wrong. Even if they do fail, their clients will only look for cheaper hosts. Who wants to pay more?

I recommend site5,resellerzoom and bliksemhosting.

Unlimited is a term used alot by many hosts nowadays. When unlimited is referred to by a reputable host it means that you are not capped on the amount of room used upon a server. Since most sites typically will not use more than 2gb of space the tactic is a selling ploy and no more. Allthough they would have allowable space up to the maximum of that certain servers non used portion. When you see a host offering unlimited bandwidth it only means they will not charge you for going over their monthly limit that they are allowed. Only problem with this is that when that limit is reached and the charges start rolling in for these accounts, some of these hosts cannot afford the cost. As their pricing structure does not take into consideration overages that will occur. This is also why you will see alot of these hosting companies limit the accounts to non adult oriented sites as those sites chew up tons of bandwidth and space. There are a few sites out there that are reputable and offer unlimited products and see almost no downtime, but they are well run and maintained. So you must be careful when considering your host and check the net to find reviews of them so that you can find the most reliable host for your needs. And make sure you read their terms of service as you will learn alot about a host from there....

Actually those webmasters/registrants who are serious about their business usually come to realize that you get what you pay for. Of course it usually takes excessive downtime, little or no support, crawling websites and/or database timeouts to get them to this juncture.

as most of the opinions, dont run after the unlimited offers cos you will have to face unlimited problems, starting from downtime, slow speed and alot more check serverdivision.com plans

Being from Romania you are probably getting IP blocks due to fraud. Here's what you do... MOVE!!! Last edited by ePlanetDesign; 06-25-2005 at 05:00 AM.
