They just came back...

I am still down on TP bandwidth, I see the TMS site is also still down. Good thing I am running a dns failover.

Posted by PeteCassetta, 07-09-2005, 12:40 AM
Up and down like a yoyo for me...

Posted by junglecat, 07-09-2005, 12:50 AM
Mine seem stable but I'm on pins and needles watching them, just hoping they don't go down again. If some others are still going up and down, that makes me nervous.

Posted by cococrust, 07-09-2005, 02:04 AM
down again as well =(

As far as I know, these issues are unrelated. The problem with The Planet's network started shortly after the problem with HE and Yipes was fixed which is terribly odd. The router that provides us with our uplink to The Planet's network is having problems and the network engineers there are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Takes the piss that there is once central point of failure! I wonder how many servers are connected to each of these type of switches - so that if one goes down, I wonder how many servers it takes with it? Al
