Which reseller??

I want to start off by saying thanks to all of the contributors here on WHT. Your input is really helpful for the uneducated when it comes to web hosting and reselling. I’ve been researching resellers for a while now and I’m not really any closer to being able to make a selection than I was when I started. I’ve been lurking on WHT and I’ve decided to ask the community for their input. Background: I currently host one domain for $$$ hosted with a friend and I really need to take control of the hosting. I also have a few personal domains that I will be hosting and a couple of new ones coming up for non-profits also. Hosting Needs: Account Set-up: The easier the better. I don’t have to move a bunch of domains in a short period but a week would be too long. I need to get a photo gallery online in the next few weeks. Support: I don’t have a problem using e-mail or forums for support. Responsiveness is important but quality of support is more important. I will need some real hand holding to get this thing off the ground. Multiple domains: I definitely don’t need unlimited. 10 would be restrictive, 25 would be great for now. Linux or Windows or Combo. I don’t know which one I need. The one site I have does have a Cold Fusion database for the news posting. I’m sure I’ll have to convert the current custom news poster to something else as I doubt I will have direct access to the database. If you want to look at what I need to do it’s: www leonabravanel com E-mail. Definitely need a webmail solution. Virus and Spam filtering would be nice. Name Servers: I want my own name servers. Domain name registration: Is it possible to do a low volume through Enom or others and get low cost registrations? I see that some resellers offer services through Enom. Billing: Right now, I really don’t need an integrated billing interface but it would be nice sometime in the future. Bulletin Board, Calendar, Auction software (one of the non-profits is doing an upcoming radio auction and we need to display the items to generate more $$$).Shopping cart would be good for the non-profits to sell items. I’m not sure what other things I need. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If there are any resellers who want to make offers I wouldn’t object to PM’s. Thanks again for all of your help.

If you decide for Windows hosting for ColdFusion capabilities, you could try FluidHosting for a reseller account there. They have received a good amount of positive feedback on WHT recently.

im not sure about the coldfusion capabilities, but www.2wdh.com should cover what you need.

i don't believe you have enough posts to recieve PM's, but... i suggest you use the Host Quote feature. put in what you're looking for, and i'm sure there are many reputable hosts who would make you a reasonable offer.

Sounds like BlueWho would be your best bet. But I'm biased towards them because they provide such great service . Joke aside, search these forums and you'll see what I mean. They can definitely provide you with everything you need and more. GDO

BlueWho is definitely one of the companies I'm looking at. I posted some questions on there forum at different times of the day and night and their staff and Adrian responded within minutes every time. Do any BlueWho customers here on WHT use a 3rd party billing module? If so, which one and how much does it cost you? How about Domain Name registrations? Am I better off just forgetting about this for now and doing it through one of the less expensive services? Thanks again for all of your help.
